Puriri moth

This morning jaram brought in a puriri moth.

It had bright green all over its large wings and black stripes on its four wings.

It's tail was wade and fat.

It's  native to New Zealand that means it's only found in New Zealand.

Puriri moths live in the bush so they can camuflage into the trees.

When we went outside to let it go in its natural habitat kahanui and Mena took photos of
the puriri moth then jaram took it up to the bush and let it free

  1. Well done Zalia with your writing. I like how you have included a fact into your writing. Did you know that a Puriri Moth only lives for 2 days.
